Alternative Party 2010 Invites you to join

Alternative Party will see another year with a weekend full of programme. You can even take your wife with you. ;p

• Bar with full selection and screens to see the competitions while you sit with your pint.
• Old computers and extraordinary machines exhibition at the area.
• Fresh and challenging competitions with cash prizes.
• Very good quality PA and a big screen with a top quality video projector.
• Relaxed atmosphere and great people. We expect bout 1000 - 1300 visitors, same amount as for 2 previous years.

Demo competitions at the Alternative Party are about experimentation, fresh ideas and being different. The demo competitions at the Alternative Party vary from one year to the next, except for the Alternative Demo competition and the Most Obscure Computer competition, which remain mostly the same every time. Other competitions may get repeated, if they are especially loved.

• Dynamic Demos
• Beginner Demo Competition
• Nokia Qt Competition.
• Kidtro Competition - make demos for kids

At least 3000 euros worth of cash prizes + we are trying to get more + of course other things as well: like Nokia N8 phones.

Alternative Demo Competition

• ALT Main Demo (at least 1000 euro cash prizes)
• You may enter with any machine or platform, whatever the power or age. Indeed we openly invite people to participate with obscure or rare hardware.
