2 months to Flash Party
For your calendar: Flashparty 2022 will be held on october 1-2 in the city of Buenos Aires at the great cultural center El Maquinal and will be held during the whole saturday october 1 afternoon up to next sunday’s midday. If you live faraway don’t worry! You’ll be able to send remote entries and follow the event via streaming, though your presence is always encouraged to live the full experience!
We remind you this year we have a new compo category: Voxel Art! It’s like pixel art but in 3D and you can create it with an opensource software called Magica Voxel, you can download here. Find all the rules and categories here. Remember that if you have an entry that doesn’t match an specific category you can present it in the WILD category, open to any kind of electronic arts artwork. Attention: deadline is thursday september 29, 23:59 (argentine time).
Submissions for performances and brief talks are still open: show everyone your skills manipulating integrated circuits, flashing visuals, clipping PWM sounds, generative music, and more. (Note: You need to be in person in the event to participate.) Send us your proposal by clicking here.
