UNO compo is back
Due to general interest(you sick weirdos!) the core of Jumalauta just announced to Icons organizers that they’ll take over Icons’08 Saturday afternoon hangover slot with yet another UNO tournament/torment. Tournament will be held on Saturday at 16:00, signing to the compo will probably also happen around that time again. Remember to participate!
Submitting remote entries
If you can’t attend Icons and want to participate compos, please send all you questions and entries to the main compo organizer(mika dot rautio at gmail dot com). Notice organizers when submitting obscure or lengthy compo entries
Just a quick note that if you are actually going to submit a production that’s in a weird platform, something that is obscure and you think it might need some general organizing before showing or its length exceeds 10 minutes, please be kind and notice the compo organizers about it! Airport service
A note to all foreigners coming to the party: We’re organizing an airport transport service for party visitors coming from outside Finland, so if you’re coming by airplane to the Helsinki-Vantaa airport, send us an e-mail with your flight details and we’ll have someone to pick you up.
Advance tickets & pre-registration!
Yes, it’s finally there - pre-registeration, that is! And what’s more interesting, you can also buy tickets in advance for a special early-bird discount price of just 20EUR/ticket. Finally, images from Breakpoint! As some BP visitors may have noticed, there was a small Icons tent outside for your leisure. Given the snow, the mud, the rain and all, a nifty shelter doesn’t sound that bad at all, does it? Did you visit?
