Compo Rules and Scheduling - important Announcement
We revised our compo rules and scheduling for this year and have made a couple of notable changes:
- Moved 256b and Animation/Video compos to Friday evening at 22:00 CEST, deadlines for both: 18:00 CEST.
- Added a strict no-GenAI rule, as we want to see your creativity and not your prompting skills.
- PETSCII/ATASCII requires submission of a binary.
- Mate-Light animation duration limited to 30 seconds.
- Increased the number of required working stages in the graphics compos to 6.
- Collages are no longer allowed in the Themed Photo compo but are welcome in the Freestyle Graphics compo instead.
- The theme for this year’s Themed Photo compo is: “B-Movie”.
- The game for this year’s Retro Tournament is: “Jump ’n Bump”.
