For some years the status of demoparty.net was bugging me: more than aged code that choked every enthusiasm to add new features. or even fix the smallest of bugs. Most of you are probably with me.
After discussing and trying several options I decided to take the chance to start a complete rewrite. Well, actually I was pushed by my hosting provider as they discussed to finally switch off the used programming language (which reached EOL two years ago). Quite a lot of free time in 2020 might have helped as well.
So here we are. All new design (ugly as hell, help urgently needed 😊), with most of the old data and features.
But finally we have a pretty solid foundation to build new and exciting features in the future.
