Evoke is one of the longest running demoparties in Germany.
The first Evoke in 1997 was the follow-up meeting to Nexus 3, a fun meeting with about ten visitors from the uprising german ANSI scene.
Changing the location quite often in the first years, Evoke is located in Cologne since 2002. One year later Digitale Kultur e.V. was founded to organize the party.
